Board of trustees

The board of trustee shall have the following responsibilities;

• Plan together on all issue affecting the ministry

•  Display wisdom at its highest level in the meetings

• Support programmes laid down by the committee

• Help in coordinating programmes at deferent levels within the church

• Advise and make suggestion that help meet objectives within the cabinet

•  Give guidance or ruling on various subjects in the cabinet

• Vote if called to on issues that demand quick decisions

• Advise members of the cabinet on issues affecting the church

• Make suggestions on the run of the ministry

• Always attend meeting of the board

• Work hand in hand with the chairman in area of ministry

• Help associates in realising the vision of ministry

• Plan with the associates the work of ministry

• Help in being innovative in ministry

• Sometime feel offices whose leaders are not available

• Advise associates in maters that spiritually affect the church

• Improve coordination in the group

 

Pastor

The Pastor’s responsibilities shall be as follows;

• Preach the word of God to the lost world

• Take care, of the flock of God

• Help in the making of the vision a reality

• Encourage the week and visit the sick

• Work hand in hand with the personal secretary

• Chair meeting of the cabinet

• Anoint associates for the work of ministry

• Invite preachers from other sister ministries

• Perform sacred duties of the ministry

• Conduct the holy Communion

• Help in speeding up projects in the ministry

• Sell the church to other ministries

• Network with other ministries and pastor

• Delegate members into offices

• Explain the vision to all associates in the ministry

• Marry members of the church

• Perform teaching sessions during workshops

• Manage ministry cash flow

• Build  sound relationship with all associates

• Perform Baptism ceremonies

• Introduce visiting preachers

 

Deacons and Elders

 

• Help the Pastor carry the duties of the ministry

• Help in conducting spiritual meeting with the members of the church on behalf of the Pastor

• Cancel people on the work of ministry

• Usher during alter-call time

• Explain the vision of the ministry to incoming associates

• Assist the pastor conducting the Holy Communion

• Conduct baptism ceremony if the Pastor is not around or is committed to other duties of the ministry

• Help the members in developing their spiritual gifts for the work of ministry

• Take care of the flock of God at all time

• Conduct marriage counselling sometime when the Pastor delegates them

• Improve relationships within the church with members
