Service and Ministry Department

This department has a lot to offer in Cfm. It is the Department that help in all manual and physical activities of the ministry. As a ministry we can not do without this department. The following are the main reasons for its existence.

 

Purpose

  • To promote service and ministry in the church

  • To make people work in and around the church

  • To make people learn to help each other as believers in Christ

  • To encourage the spirit of hard work in the church

  • To inspire people learn to share things in life

  • To promote accountability and responsibility

 

Target

  • The well dedicated Christian in the church

  • The visionary and a heart for God’s work

  • The aggressive and serious in God’s Work

  • The well disciplined person in the things of the spirit

  • The obedient believer always receptive to the call of God

  • The one conscious of the surrounding within church premises

 

Strategy

to teach and counsel the associates learn to be active, industrious, responsible and ready to serve and minister to others in either spiritual or material needs

  • To make associates interact so to create need awareness in the church

  • To create an atmosphere where associates can be of service to each other in various issues of life

  • To  teach associates practical ways of being helpful to all age groups in the ministry

  • To encourage associates to learn and discover their potential in assisting other believers having problems in life

  • To help each materially or emotionally

  • To motivate others join the Department

The Department has the following sub-ministries;

  • Ministry of Welfare Service

  • Women Care Group Ministry

  • Food and Clothing Ministry

  • Senior Citizen Care Group

  • Ministry of Usher

  • The Sacramental Counsel

  • The ministry of Counsellors

  • Ministry of Door keeping

  • Ministry of Pulpit and outer-call

  • Guest and Accommodation ministries

  • Compassion and Hospitality Ministries

  • Exterior Decoration Ministries

  • Cleaning and supervision Ministries

Departmental Leaders

 

The Director Service and Ministry

The Director has the following responsibilities;

  • Planning, promoting and supervising all activities of the department

  • Promoting cooperation between all department offices in the ministry

  • Inspire coordination among office mates

  • Periodically submit departmental budget the ministry board

  • Promote Service and ministry in the church

  • Explain the ministry vision and objective

  • Encourage associates enlisting as department members

  • Keep office records at all time in places that are safe

  • Report on issues that happens in the department to the board

  • Minister on the importance of music in the ministry

  • Plan and incorporate activities into the main church calendar

  • Improve efficiency in the department

  • Develop and support all Service and ministry programmes

  • Set bearable goals for the Department

  • Evaluate work performance monthly

  • Update associates on the activities happening in the department

  • Create good policies that work in the Department

 

 

 

 

Assistant Director Service and Ministry

The Assistant Director has the same functions as those of the Department Director though that happens only when assigned duty or only if the Director assume other responsibilities at that particular time

 

Coordinator

The Sub-ministry coordinator has the following functions;

  • Implementing and executing projects approved by the Director and his/her Assistant

  • Improving coordination among associates taking part in the departmental projects

  • Maintain all departmental records

  • Evaluating and analyzing projects of the Department

  • Give report to the Director on issues affecting his / her department

  • To assist the Department in research, evaluation and project reviewing

  • Assist the Department in the re-sourcing of funds and their control  

 

 

Discipleship and Maturity Department

This Department is the cornerstone of the ministry. It educates people in various aspects of the ministry. It is an engine that informs and matures associates to do ministry. The following are the main reason of existence;

 

Purpose

  • To inform and educate all Cfm members about the things of the spirit

  • To mature associates become the core of ministry

  • Develop associates become Pastors, teachers, Evangelist, Apostles and prophets of God

  • To make associates become visionary and objective for Gods work

 

Target

  • The committed to ministry and its vision

  • The humble and obedient to God’s work

  • Men and women that are ready to work for the ministry

  • Associates that love studying the word of God in a deeper sense

  • The vibrant and creative in the  work of ministry

  • Men and women accountable to the work of God

 

Strategy

 

  • Regular Teachings of associates in all Departments

  • Implementing shepherded group training

  • Educate people as soon as thy know Christ

  • Create seminars, convections, revivals and retreats where very one can learn the word of God

  • Purchase books that can enhance teachings in the Department

  • Enrol students that show interest in the ministry vision and objective

  • Establish a school that offer good Bible knowledge in the church

  • Monitor  each student as he/she progresses in  learning

  • Establish rules and principles that govern the school

  • Keep office records at all time in places that are safe

  • Report on issues that happens in the department to the board

  • Develop School curriculum for the church

  • Plan and incorporate activities into the main church calendar

  • Improve efficiency in the department

  • Develop and support all Departmental Projects

  • Set bearable goals for the Department

  • Evaluate work performance monthly

  • Updating associates on the activities happening in the department

  • Create good policies that work in the Department

  • To guide associates in accomplishing their school assignments
